My goal for this year is to donate 2% of my salary to charity. I say this, not because I'm seeking acclaim or anything, but merely to challenge myself. If it's written down publicly, it'll be harder for me to avoid doing (at least that's my theory).
Give while you got it and karma will reward you when you don't.
